MODULE 1: POSITIVELY PRIMED

If you’re looking at this, it's likely that you often feel overwhelmed or “fed up” with the role of being a parent.

How often do you find yourself in a negative thought pattern or spiral? This section is all about setting a positive tone for your day-to-day life! We learn seven techniques that start to create new neural pathways in your brain, fostering a positive mindset within which to “do” life.

Not only will these techniques create a positive foundation from which to begin your healing journey, but you will also be able to tap into them anytime you need a conscious level shift when that overwhelm begins to creep in. You will start approaching life from the perspective of “yay, me!” instead of “why me?”.

MODULE 2: FABULOUS FOUNDATIONS

Just like a car cannot run without fuel, neither can your body.

Creating good habits and routines is essential in combating mum burnout. When we are stuck in the cycle of doing for others, with to-do lists that don’t get any shorter, we often forget to take care of ourselves. This session we take a step away from mindset and focus on establishing consistent, simple, daily habits to feed your body and support you so you can go the distance.

MODULE 3: SHAME TO SHINE

When you fall into the cycle of mum depletion, it’s easy to begin feeling shame about your parenting. Perhaps you just feel you’re not as good a parent as you used to be or you think you are failing on all fronts. This not only affects your mental wellbeing and how you respond to those around you, it can also affect you physically.

You will gain a deeper understanding of how your everyday thoughts are linked to your mental and physical well-being. We pinpoint the thoughts and emotions that define you individually and as a parent and implement methods to rewire your brain to transform these thoughts and beliefs. This is especially impactful for changing critical self-talk. If you feel better as a parent, you show up better as a parent.

Once you get stuck into the game of transforming your thoughts (and therefore your reality) to positives, you will feel like you are totally winning at this parenting gig! Your life will transform in the most beautiful way.

MODULE 4: REWIRE. REACT. RECONNECT.

A common sign of mum burnout is when you begin to feel emotionally disconnected from your children. You find it difficult to enjoy being with them - you’re there physically, but mentally you have tuned out. You might also have a short fuse and react to the smallest things. All of this just further fuels the negative thought spirals of shame and failure.

In this section, you will learn how to change your actions and reactions from what you wished you didn’t do to what you wished you did do. Because you function on autopilot, unless you consciously make change happen, you are likely to continue doing what you do (still with me?).

You learn how to create new neural pathways from the things that trigger you, to the way you react - and this starts to rewire your brain. So, for example, you get to the point where instead of shutting down when your child refuses to eat their vegetables at dinner time, you negotiate. Or, if your teenager lies to you, instead of flying off the handle, you are able to have a calm discussion about honesty. Or, enjoying one cookie, instead of finishing off the pack!

You will learn to identify and replace your triggers with proactive, positive actions in every aspect of your life. This brings back connection with and enjoyment of those around you. You can truly start being that parent you wish you were.

MODULE 5: STORY TIME

You can find it difficult to move forward if you’re feeling stuck. If you have thoughts that keep going over and over in your head, if you’ve had a traumatic experience or even if you’re holding onto an argument. Whatever it is, those things are literally stopping you from progressing in your life. As a parent there are so many moments we can wish had played out differently and ruminating over these keeps us where we are.

In this masterclass, we will talk about one of the most fundamentally important things: you are not your experiences, you are not the arguments you’ve had, you are not the moment you ‘lost it’ with your child, you are not the harsh words you used in the latest altercation with your teen.

What has been done and said is in the past. It only continues to live in your mind and as long as you allow it to live and breathe, it will hold you back from embracing the parent you want to be. We begin with identifying these moments and finish with reframing them so that you can forgive yourself and let the old stories go. This module is a game-changer.

MODULE 6: YOUR CAPSULE WARDROBE

The key to avoiding burnout is to eliminate stress! How many times have you heard that? This feels almost impossible for mothers. Stress is part of life. It’s not the stress itself that is the real issue; it is how we release this stress so that our bodies and minds can return to their natural daily rhythm.

We do not want little daily stressors to linger and create chronic stress. This is what makes us sick, exhausted and tuned out.

In this final lesson, just like the perfect capsule wardrobe, you will leave with a few key items that you can use together or in any combination to regulate your stress response. When life throws you those curveballs, they WILL come, but we can ensure you are beautifully equipped with the right tools to process that stress.
